for you, Clare Augustine Moore,
one small work of tribute and admiration,
not merely for your art,
which glows yet with vigour and flourish,
you who executed in colour and letter
the journeying Word
and the new Mercy way,
one artist in a long line
who bent over words for the sake of the Word.
